PR in Australia Skilled Independent Visa

The Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189) is a visa for applicants who have not been sponsored by an employer, a state/territory or a family member who is a permanent resident or citizen of Australia. It costs approximately AUD 4,045. This visa will allow you to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia and also has provisions for you to include your family members in the application process. The application process for this visa requires you to secure a positive skills assessment before you send in your EOI through the SkillSelect portal. After you have received an invitation to apply from the Department of Home Affairs, you will have to submit your final, completed application for approval which will grant you your visa. Be younger than 45 years of age

Score at least 65 on the points test
Meet the health and character requirements as set by the authorities

Note: If your application is successful and you receive the visa, you will be allowed 5 years to live and work in Australia with multiple entry granted on your travels outside the country. You can also live in Australia for 2 of the 5 years and still get your visa renewed for a further 5 years.

PR in Australia Employer Nomination Scheme

The Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) is a visa that allows Australian employers to sponsor international workers by providing them job opportunities and the chance to live and work permanently in Australia. The key features of this visa are that it allows the holder to work and stay in Australia indefinitely as a permanent resident, access to MediCare, travel outside Australia with multiple return entries over a period of 5 years and sponsor eligible relatives for a variety of Australian visas.
