  • U of T had 14,931 new full-time students who entered in their first Entry Undergraduate Programs in the fall of 2018-19:
    • 7,602 at our St. George Campus
    • 3,360 at our Scarborough Campus
    • 3,969 at our Mississauga Campus
  • Faculty members include all the active faculty members with teaching/research responsibilities but exclude research fellows and 5,606 teaching assistants.
  • The University of Toronto has been funded from various sectors with the sum of up to USD 1.27 billion. Out of which, 34 % of the funds come from federal agencies, 29% from the not-for-profit organisations and the rest from other sectors.
  • By fall 2018, 591,904 alumni from around the world have got admission to U of T.

University of Toronto – Fees

The amount of tuition you pay will depend on factors such as the program and the year of study, the course load and the selected campus. The tuition fees are very high as compared to European universities or universities in the Indian subcontinent. Some of the subject course fees are:

  • Bachelors of Commerce – 4-year course costs up to INR 24 Lakh
  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering – 4-year course costs up to INR 28 lakh
  • One year executive MBA – Cost up to INR 59 Lakh
  • MSc Computer Science – Cost up to INR 17 Lakh
  • Full time MBA – Cost up to INR 32 lakh

University of Toronto – Eligibility Criteria

International students are eligible based on the following criteria:

  • Currently residing outside of Canada
  • Not studying
  • Have not previously studied in Canada
  • Not applying to any other universities in Ontario

The students must go to the following apply link to make the application. The prospective international applicant who wishes to apply to other universities in Ontario in addition to the University of Toronto should use the OUAC 105 application. The students in most cases have to upload key documents such as academic transcripts and English proficiency certificates while submitting the online application.

University of Toronto – Admission Timeline

The university application process starts in the fall of the year before students intend to begin their studies. Some of the application timeline for full-time undergraduate programs are shown below. The admission decisions for Ontario secondary school (101) applicants are released during three admission rounds, occurring in February, March and May and February 15 is the deadline for receipt of transcripts and English language test scores.  Many offers of admission are made in the earlier admission rounds, and since seats are limited so meeting the February 15 deadline ensures that their documents are available for early consideration. Secondary school applicants decisions are released during three admission rounds, occurring in early February, late March and late May. The earliest round of consideration takes place before the February document deadline and the applicants have to wait for third round consideration in late May.
