The Master of Work Health and Safety Advanced provides an intensive specialised professional program of study plus the opportunity to specialise in either Ergonomics, Occupational Hygiene or Risk Management.

UOW's Work Health and Safety programs have been developed in conjunction with a wide range of industry sectors to address the complex nature of occupational health and safety in the workplace. The program has a flexible mode of delivery, with online content delivered up front, and block teaching sessions of 3–5 days for exploration and application of subject material. On campus teaching components utilise a range of resources, including the well-equipped OHS Laboratory. 

What you will study
Knowledge and skills development throughout this course will be applied to a research?based capstone workplace project in the final stage of the degree program. This will give you a high level of evidence-based professional practice in occupational health and safety.
