APSA Public Scholarship Program 2025–26

The APSA Public Scholarship Program 2025 is offered by the American Political Science Association (APSA). The scholarship is a prestigious financial award designed to support outstanding students in their first year of a PhD in the political science stream. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of USD 2,000 (approx. ₹1,75,100).

To be eligible, applicants must:-

• be doctoral students in political science
• have completed at least one year of graduate studies before the fellowship begins
• show interest in and commitment to public scholarship
• demonstrate the ability to write for a general audience

The selected candidates will receive:-

• A stipend of USD 2000 (approx. ₹1,75,100) 
• Workshop training by ASPA staff
• A publication of their work in the American Political Science Review, ASPA’s blog, and social media account.
