Chalmers University of Technology Volvo Group Scholarship 2021

Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden invites applications for Chalmers University of Technology Volvo Group Scholarship 2021. A total number of 2 scholarships will be offered to the citizens of the Republic of India and/or the People’s Republic of China. The selected students will receive variable awards under this scholarship. 

Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden is offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be a citizen of the Republic of India and/or People’s Republic of China interested in Swedish University studies
• Be in the first years of master's programme in the following fields of study
  • Automotive Engineering
  • Computer Systems & Networks
  • Electric Power Engineering
  • Software Engineering and Technology 
  • Data Science & AI
  • High-Performance Computer Systems

• 100% tuition fees
• Additional support that may offer summer internships, master's thesis project, mentorship and possibility of employment at the Volvo Group

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarships through following steps - 

Step 1: Apply for one of the listed Master’s programmes at the Chalmers University of Technology and generate a User ID.
Step 2: With the help of the User ID, apply for the scholarship at Chalmers University.
Step 3: Fill in the required details.
Step 4: Submit the application.

Candidates will be selected based on the academic excellence, global ranking list of their home universities and the priority order of the application at the Chalmers University’s master’s programme.

Application deadline: 15th January 2021

• Employment at Volvo Group is subject to the recipient’s grades evaluation.
• To retain the scholarship in the second year, recipients must pass at least 75% of their courses in the first year.
• The scholarship will be given in the form of tuition fee waiver only.
• In case, the recipient transfers to some other program, the decision of scholarship award will be reassessed.
