Chanakya Merit cum Means Scholarship 2024

Chanakya Merit Cum Means Scholarship 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by Chanakya University to undergraduate students whose total family income does not exceed ₹8,00,000 per annum. The scholarship aims to support students who display academic excellence by providing financial aid to pursue higher education at the university. Selected candidates will receive up to 100% fee waivers and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be an undergraduate student
• be wishing to pursue their higher education at the Chanakya University
• have a total annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000
• have scored 85% or more in class 10 and 12
• must score 50% and above on the Chanakya Scholarship Eligibility Test (CSET)

Selected candidates will receive:-

• 50% fee waiver for candidates with ₹6-8 Lakhs annual family income
• 75% fee waiver for candidates with ₹3-6 Lakhs annual family income
• 100% fee waiver for candidates with less than ₹3 Lakhs annual family income
• Library fees
• Laboratory fees
• Other non-refundable university fees
• Hotel and food expenses
• Annual travel tickets

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:-
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note:- If already registered, log in using the registered email Id.)
Step 4: Register yourself with proper credentials and provide the OTP (Note:- if already registered, log in with appropriate credentials).
Step 5: Fill in the required information and submit the necessary documents.
Step 6: Submit the form.

• Passport size photograph
• Mark sheet of previous qualifying examination (Class 10, 12)
• Aadhar card
• Family income certificate
• Statement of Purpose (describing aspiration and needs for the scholarship)

• A scholarship committee will meticulously assess applicants, taking into account both academic achievement and financial need.
• Each school will form a three-member panel to conduct online applicant interviews.
• A dedicated team will visit the applicant's home and collect the required documents.
• Selected candidates will receive a letter of confirmation, which will be followed by the conclusion of the admissions procedure, which allows a candidate to join within one week.

Announcement of Awardees: 18th June 2024
Letter of Conformation: 20th June 2024

• The statement of purpose can be supported by a letter of recommendation from the college principal.
• Candidates securing scholarships will be required to fill out the college application form. The final decision to grant the scholarship is with the Scholarship Committee.
• The scholarship will not cover security/caution deposits, travel expenses, study tours, registration fees, and any additional courses that students may opt for.
• Once the letters of confirmation are disbursed, the candidates are expected to join at the earliest.
