Coventry University Sports Scholarships 2025

The Coventry University Sports Scholarships 2025 is an opportunity provided by Coventry University to UG and PG students who demonstrate excellence in sports at the national or international level. It aims to support the education of exceptional international students. The selected students will receive an annual sports scholarship of £3,000 (₹3,53,413).

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• demonstrate excellence in their chosen sport at the national or international level
• be able to represent the university in that sport
• be competing in a sport which is part of the BUCS, Olympic or Paralympic sports

The selected candidates will receive an annual sports scholarship as per the following levels:-
Level 1: National level students receive £1500 (₹1,76,683)
Level 2: International level students receive £3,000 (₹3,53,413) 

(Note: The scholarship awarded to every student is provided in 2 parts - 50% is direct financial support and 50% is nonfinancial support in the form of a tailored programme of support services such as pre-season screening, physiotherapy, sports psychology, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, performance analysis, mentoring, and performance workshops.)

Applicants will be selected based on their fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.

• Students can only receive a maximum of one scholarship.
• Students who decline their admission at the university are not eligible for the scholarship.
• The following courses are not covered:
  • Foundation Art and Design course
  • Foundation Degree or an undergraduate foundation year (Year Zero) course
  • Any Coventry University course offered through a franchise, hybrid program, or at another institution
• Part-time students will be awarded this scholarship pro rata based on the number of credits undertaken.
• Students in the Training Placement Year are not eligible for this scholarship. 
• Renewal of this scholarship is not guaranteed.
