Dalai Lama Fellowship Program 2026

The Dalai Lama Fellowship Program 2026 is an opportunity provided by the Dalai Lama Fellows (DLF) to emerging changemakers between 20 to 36 years. This fellowship aims to cultivate the values of awareness, compassion, and integrity in emerging leaders.

The Dalai Lama Fellows (DLF) is offering this opportunity.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be between 20 and 36 years of age as of April 1, 2026
• be fluent in both written and spoken English
• be engaged with, or have well-articulated plans for, a social change project and sustain that engagement throughout the fellowship year
• have in-depth knowledge of the community and the issue the project seeks to address, ideally with at least one year of previous experience working with the community

The fellowship provides value through its various components:

• Experience our unique yearlong online leadership curriculum that engages the Head, Heart, and Hands.
• Benefit from one-on-one and small-group coaching designed to support personal development and leadership in social innovation.
• Participate in the Contemplative Leadership Assembly alongside Fellows from around the world, guided by dynamic faculty.
• Enjoy lifelong affiliation with our global learning community and support system.

• The selected fellows shall attend the Contemplative Leadership Assembly in May 2026, with all travel, lodging, and meal costs covered by DLF.
