    What is Eiffel Scholarship Program Of Excellence 2021-22?

    Eiffel Scholarship Program Of Excellence 2021-22 is an opportunity offered to young graduates and postgraduates who wish to pursue master and Ph.D. programmes in French Universities and institutions. This scholarship is applicable in four fields of study: Law, Economics and Management, Engineering Sciences, and Political Sciences. A monthly allowance of EUR 1,181 (a maintenance allowance of EUR 1,031 and a stipend of EUR 150) and other benefits will be awarded to the recipients.

    Who is offering this scholarship ?

    The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is offering this scholarship in collaboration with all the French Universities and institutions.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • Be a non-french national
    • Have an excellent academic performance 
    • Be a graduate willing to enroll in a Master's or Ph.D. level program in France
    • Not be older than 30 years (for Master's level) and 35 years (for Ph.D. level) as on the last date of application 

    What are the benefits ?

    The selected candidates will receive the benefits in the following ways - 

    • A monthly allowance of EUR 1,181 (a maintenance allowance of EUR 1,031 and a stipend of EUR 150)
    • Round-trip international air travel
    • Train travel within France
    • Reimbursement of up to EUR 50 for the cost of local transportation 
    • Health insurance 
    • Supplemental health insurance
    • Housing assistance

    How can you apply ?

    The eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by using the below-mentioned steps - 
    Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
    Step 2: The institution will preselect the candidates based on eligibility criteria and submit the online applications, using the form appropriate for each level of study.
    Step 3: The institutions will send a list of the applications they previously submitted online to Campus France. The digital document must bear the institution’s seal and the signature of the head of the institution (university president or director), or the candidate's representative. The digitized document is required to be emailed to - candidatures.eiffel@campusfrance.org.
     

    What are the selection criteria ?

    The selection of the candidates will be made by taking into account the consultative opinion of the Services of Cooperation and Cultural Action (SCAC) of the French Embassies. The selection will be based on - 

    • Candidate's excellence 
    • Academic background
    • The originality of research subject (for Ph.D. students)

    What are the important dates ?

    Application Deadline: 7th January 2022
    Publication of Results: Week of 4 April 2022

    Terms and Conditions

    • Only programs recognized by the French government are eligible.
    • The Eiffel Program cannot be used at French-run programs abroad or in connection with apprenticeship contracts or professional training contracts.
    • Each institution can nominate a maximum of 40 candidates per field of study for a master’s scholarship.
    • Incomplete applications will be rejected.
