Gates Cambridge Scholarship 2021

The University of Cambridge invites applications for Gates Cambridge Scholarship 2021 from post-graduate and PhD students of the university. This scholarship aims to build a global network of future leaders. Selected scholars will get adequate funds to pursue their post-graduate or PhD studies.

The University of Cambridge is offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be a citizen of any country outside the United Kingdom
• Be applying to pursue full-time residential courses of study at the University of Cambridge –PhD, MSc/MLitt or One year postgraduate course

The selected students will receive full funding for post-graduate or PhD studies. The core components are given below:

• University composition fee as per the rates
• maintenance allowance for up to 4 years
• Economy Airfare
• Visa cost

Step 2: The student having an admission offer to the postgraduate and PhD programs and having filled the funding section while submitting the online application for the course program will be automatically considered for this scholarship.        

Selections of the candidates will be done through three-stage selection process – Departmental ranking, shortlisting and interview. 

Application deadline: 07th January 2021

• A total of 80 full-cost scholarships will be offered in 2020 to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.
• Approximately two-thirds of these awards will be offered to PhD students, with approximately 25 awards available in the US round and 55 available in the International round.
• Students pursuing any Undergraduate degree such as BA (undergraduate) or BA affiliated (a second BA), Master of Business (MBA), Master of Finance (MFin), PGCE, MBBChir Clinical Studies, MD Doctor of Medicine degree (6 years, part-time), Graduate Course in Medicine (A101), Part-time degrees and Non-degree courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
