Higgs Centre MSc Prize Scholarships, University of Edinburgh 2021

The Higgs Centre for Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh invites applications for the Higgs Centre MSc Prize Scholarships for the academic year 2021-2022. Candidates interested in pursuing MSc in Theoretical Physics or Mathematical Physics can apply for the scholarship. A total of two candidates will be selected to receive scholarships worth GBP 5000.

The scholarships are being offered by the Higgs Centre for Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh.

To be eligible for these scholarships, an applicant must:

• Have applied for studying a full-time MSc course (in Theoretical Physics or Mathematical Physics) at the University of Edinburgh
• Be of any nationality (but must have, or expect to obtain a UK first-class honours degree or its overseas equivalent)

The Higgs Centre will award 2 scholarships with each scholarship worth GBP 5000 and tenable for one academic year.

Applications for the scholarship can be submitted online through the MyEd portal. Follow the below steps to apply for the scholarship:

Step 3: Verify the email address to access the application form.
Step 4: Fill in all the required details.
Step 5: Upload the relevant documents and provide references.
Step 6: Submit the application.

• Two references
• Personal statement
• Degree certificates and academic transcripts
• Certified translations (if the relevant documents are not in English)
• Proof of English language proficiency

The scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of academic merit.

Application deadline: 01st June 2021

• The scholarship is for the academic session 2021-2022.
• The scholarship will be tenable for one academic year.
• To gain access to the scholarship application system, candidates must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.
• After the submission of the application, it may take up to 5 working days for all system checks to be completed.
