IISER Pune Summer Student Programme 2025

IISER Pune Summer Student Programme 2025 is an opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Science, Education, and Research, Pune to research oriented students. The program aims to offer its students evaluate the suitability of various programs at IISER Pune (Integrated PhD and PhD) for future career choices. Selected candidates will receive a research opportunity and free accommodation.

This opportunity is offered by the Indian Institute of Science, Education, and Research (IISER), Pune.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be a non-IISER Pune student
• be pursuing (at the time of application) studies in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of B.Sc./B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent OR
• be pursuing studies in the 1st year of M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent
• have obtained a minimum of 60% (or equivalent) in overall grades OR
• have obtained 80% in the particular stream(s) of interest

The selected students will receive:-

• an opportunity to participate in the research program which spans both theory and experiment in biology, chemistry, data science, earth and climate science, mathematics, humanities, physics and Earth sciences with a strong focus on interdisciplinary research.
• a free room in the student's hostel

Note:- Selected students must cover the cost of travel and boarding in the hostel mess (about ₹6,000 per month).

Step 3: Navigate to 'Registration Form', provide the necessary details, and click 'Submit'.

Selection will be based on the details submitted by the applicants. The result will be notified to the students by 31st March, 2025.

• Students can submit multiple applications, however only the last one will be considered.
