IIT Ropar Department of Mathematics Junior Research Fellowship 2021-22

IIT Ropar Department of Mathematics Junior Research Fellowship 2021-22 is an initiative from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded project. It will be offered to B.Tech, M.Tech, and M.Sc. degree holders. The fellowship requires the fellows to work on the project titled, "Efficient Distributed Computation of Independent and Dominating Sets in Geometric Graphs." The selected fellows will receive INR 31,000 p.m for the first two years and INR 35,000 pm for the third year. Additionally, HRA will be provided as per institute rule if accommodation is not provided. 

The fellowship is being offered by the Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar. 

To be eligible, an applicant must -

• Hold a B.Tech degree in Computer Science or allied discipline with GATE qualification and a minimum of CGPA 6, OR
• Hold an M.Tech degree in Computer Science or allied discipline with a minimum of CGPA 6, OR
• Hold an M.Sc in Computer Science or Mathematics or allied discipline with GATE/NET qualification and a minimum of CGPA 6

The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 p.m for the first two years and INR 35000 pm for the third year. Additionally, HRA will be provided as per institute rule if accommodation is not provided.
