    What is International Baccalaureate (IB) Scholarship, South Asia 2020?

    UTS, Australia invites applications for International Baccalaureate (IB) Scholarship, South Asia 2020 from IB diploma qualified South Asian students. The purpose of this scholarship is to attract meritorious students to enrol in an undergraduate program at UTS in Sydney. Selected students will receive 50% payment of their total tuition fees through this scholarship.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • Be a citizen of a South Asian country (India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka or Pakistan)
    • Be completing or have completed an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
    • Meet the UTS admission criteria for the selected UTS undergraduate degree course
    • Must obtain an aggregate score of 28 or above in final grades of IB Diploma including bonus and penalty points or 33 or above in their IB predicted grades
    • Have completed the IB Diploma no longer than 1 year prior to commencing studies at UTS

    Note: Students enrolling in a UTS transnational program are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

    What are the benefits ?

    Selected candidates will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver for the standard duration of the UTS course.

    What are the selection criteria ?

    Candidates will be selected by the Scholarships Selection Committee based on their final results of IB Diploma or IB predicted results.

    Terms and Conditions

    • Recipients must maintain the minimum progression rules of the University for the duration of the scholarship.
    • Recipients must be enrolled as full-time students (22-24 credit points or more) in autumn and spring sessions.
    • The scholarship cannot be transferred, deferred or redeemed for cash.
    • UTS reserves the right to terminate the scholarship.
