Lenovo Smarter Technology for All One Young World Scholarship 2019

The One Young World (OYW) along with Lenovo invites applications for the Lenovo Smarter Technology for All One Young World Scholarship 2019 from candidates falling in the age group of 18-30 years old. The objective of the scholarship is to support a young leader who is helping to provide better access to STEM education and technology to underserved groups, or someone who is leveraging the use of technology to make a tangible impact in their community, country or world at large. The selected scholar has the opportunity to attend the OYW summit 2019 in London.

The scholarship is being offered by One Young World (OYW) and Lenovo.

The following applicants are eligible to apply for the scholarship program: 

• Should fall in the age group of 18–30 years
• The applicant agrees to participate in the interview and articles published by Lenovo if he/she accepts the selection

The selected scholars will receive the following benefits: 

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2019 in London, UK
• Cost of travel to and from London (Economy class only)
• Hotel accommodation from 22 to 25 October which will include the following: 
  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Dinner
• Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue
• Summit hand-outs and support materials

Follow the steps to apply: 

Step 1: Visit the latest scholarship page to access the application form.
Step 2: Fill in the application form with the required details.
Step 3: Attach the necessary documents along with the application.
Step 4: Submit the application.

The applicants will be shortlisted based on the following criteria: 

• Evidenced delivery of social impact
• Demonstrated capacity for leadership
• Track record of generating impactful and innovative results

• Application deadline: 20th May 2019
• Summit dates: 22nd to 25th October 2019

• There is no provision of saving responses while submitting the form.
• The applicants are recommended to save their responses first in an offline document before submitting the application.   
• OYW will actively seek and prioritize applicants who apply technology to drive progress on the Sustainable Development Goals.
