Master of Advanced Studies in Medical Physics Fellowship 2025

The Master of Advanced Studies in Medical Physics Fellowship 2025 is an initiative by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the University of Trieste, Italy. This opportunity caters the students who have completed M.Sc. degree in Physics or related fields, particularly from low and medium-income countries. The selected applicants will receive a full or partial scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be below 30 years of age
• hold a degree equivalent to an M.Sc. in physics or related fields
• belong to a low- or middle-income country (preferred but not required)
• have an adequate proficiency in the English language

Note:- The applicants must be from countries that are members of the United Nations, UNESCO or IAEA.

The qualified candidates will receive the benefit of full or partial scholarships to help cover the cost of the Master's program.

The full scholarship include:- 

• Full support for travel
• Full support for the registration fee
• A monthly stipend (reduced amount if accommodation provided)

The partial scholarship include:-

• Half support for travel
• Half support for the registration fee
• A monthly stipend 
• Alternatively, candidates can choose to receive full support for travel and registration fee only

Question: What is the Master of Advanced Studies in Medical Physics (MMP) program?
Answer: It's a two-year postgraduate program offered by the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the University of Trieste, Italy.

• The Participants will also be required to take part in ongoing activities of ICTP in their related fields.
• A maximum of 30 students will be admitted.
