Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship 2025

Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship 2025 is an initiative by the *O.P Jindal Global University to the Ph.D. students. This Fellowship aims to create a vibrant community pushing the boundaries of interdisciplinary research. The fellowship will also help empower applicants to address global challenges through cross-disciplinary collaboration. Selected fellows will receive residential accommodation for three-month and other benefits.

*The O.P Jindal Global University (JGU) is a non-profit, multidisciplinary and research oriented university founded in 2009. JGU was established as a philanthropic initiative of its Founding Chancellor, Mr. Naveen Jindal in memory of his father, Mr. O.P. Jindal.

This scholarship is being offered by the O.P. Jindal Global University.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• hold a recognised UG or PG degree from a partner institution
• be below 42 years of age 
• have a strong interest in conducting research and publishing their findings

The selected candidates will receive a one-year fellowship with a three-month residential component, providing meals, accommodation, and a collaborative research environment and other benefits.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

• Candidates must conduct research aligned with the approved research proposal.
• At least one research article in a SCOPUS-indexed journal, either independently or in collaboration with a JGU faculty member must be submitted by applicants. 
• Students must be participating in both international and national conferences, publishing conference and journal papers in SCOPUS or Web of Science (WoS) indexed journals.
• Applicants must be organising seminars, conferences, and workshops within the University.
• Students must be proposing new research directions and projects, as well as assisting in the preparation of research proposals.
• Applicants must be interacting with postgraduate and undergraduate students, including providing potential guidance on research proposals within similar areas, subject to approval from the supervisor.
• Students must offer assistance and guidance to faculty members in the preparation and submission of grant proposals.
