Nilam Patel Bahushrut Foundation Study Abroad Scholarship 2023

Nilam Patel Bahushrut Foundation Study Abroad Scholarship 2023 is an initiative of the Nilam Patel Bahushrut Foundation (a public charitable trust dedicated to the welfare of the deaf) for the hearing-impaired students of Gujarat and Maharashtra. This scholarship is for students who have taken admission to a bachelor’s or master’s program in any reputed college or university abroad. The aim of the programme is to provide equal opportunities for hearing-impaired students by providing them with scholarships and prizes every year based on merit.

Nilam Patel Bahushrut Foundation, a public charitable trust is offering the scholarship.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:

• be hearing impaired
• be a domicile of either Gujarat/Maharashtra
• be pursuing a bachelor's or master's program in any reputed college or university abroad

The selected top 7 students will receive awards based on their academic excellence. The awards are as follows -

• Manubhai D Shah Award for Academic Excellence - 1st Rank holder at SSC level
• Vasumati M Shah Award for Academic Excellence - 2nd Rank holder at SSC level
• Pushpaben R Vora Award for Academic Excellence - 1st Rank holder at HSC level
• Jayaben N Parikh Award for Academic Excellence - 2nd Rank holder at HSC level
• Dayabhai C Sutaria Award for Academic Excellence - 1st Rank holder at Graduate level
• Padmavati D Sutaria Award for Academic Excellence - 2nd Rank holder at Graduate level
• Maniben Chunilal Sutaria Award for Academic Excellence - 1st Rank holder at Post Graduate level

Step 3: Navigate to 'Application Form-Study Abroad Scholarship' and download it.

• Certificate of deafness
• Copy of passport
• Copy of student visa
• Copy of correspondence with the university seeking admission
• Copy of University application and/or acknowledgement(s) from the University applied for
• University offer letter of confirmed admission in Graduate or Postgraduate program
• Attested copies of academic transcripts and certificates

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
