Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students, West Bengal 2023-24

Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students, West Bengal 2023-24 is an initiative of the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal for SC/ST students of Class 11 to postgraduation level. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to SC/ST students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. The selected candidates will receive a maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200.

The scholarship is being offered by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must-

• be a domicile of West Bengal
• belong to SC/ST category
• be a student of class 11/12/graduation/postgraduation
• have an annual family income of more than INR 2,50,000

The selected candidates will receive the awards as follow along with tuition fee and non-refundable fee (if there are any) -

Step 3: Navigate to 'Student's Registration' at the top of the dashboard.
Step 4: Choose the district where the institute is located.
Step 5: Fill in all the necessary details, upload the required documents and submit the form.

• Income certificate
• Academic certificates/marksheets
• Disability certificate (if required)

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
