    What is President's Award Vocal Scholarship, Musicians Institute 2021?

    MI College of Contemporary Music, California invites applications for President’s Award Vocal Fellowship 2021 from applying or currently enrolled students in the AA or BM Vocal Programs who excel in any style or genre as a vocalist. Selected candidates will get USD 1,000 credited towards the first quarter of the program.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • Be international students and U.S. citizens.
    • Have applied to the Associate of Arts in Performance (Vocal) Program, or Bachelor of Music in Performance (Vocal) Program
    • Be newly enrolling and current/returning students in any MI program
    • Have a Letter of Acceptance from MI’s Admission Department 

    Note - Previous scholarship winners are not eligible for this year scholarship.

    What are the benefits ?

    A credit of USD 1,000 toward the first quarter of the program.

    What are the selection criteria ?

    Selections will be based on the eligibility criteria and the quality of song performances as submitted with the application.

    Terms and Conditions

    • Scholarships are awarded in the form of tuition credit only.
    • The total award amount will be determined after the review of the application.
    • The total award amount is divided by the number of quarters in the study program and credited equally toward each quarter’s tuition (except MI Hardship Scholarship; which is a one-time award).
    • Applicants will be notified of the results within two weeks after the deadline.
    • All scholarships are non-transferable and may not be applied to any person, program, or start date other than those for which they were originally awarded.
    • Scholarship recipients who fail to meet minimum academic requirements during their enrollment will forfeit any remaining award balance.
