Reuters-Oxford Journalism Fellowship Programme 2026-27 is an opportunity offered by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, University of Oxford to mid-career journalists. Who can apply for this scholarship ?
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have a minimum of five years’ journalistic experience, or in exceptional cases be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of journalistic expertise.
- not be working in public affairs, public relations, or corporate communications at the time of application.
- be working as a journalist (freelance work is acceptable and not a barrier to application).
- be a journalist from any region of the world, including Europe, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, North America, or Latin America.
- intend to return to journalistic work after completing the fellowship.
- be able to understand and participate in discussions conducted in English.
What are the benefits ?
The selected candidates shall receive:
- Monthly stipend of £2,000 ( ₹2,43,777 approx.)
- Travel expenses (To and from UK)
- Visa expenses

Terms and Conditions
