    What is Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship 2021-22?

    Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship 2021-22 is an initiative from undergraduate and postgraduate students of the university. This scholarship aims to support new and continuing students enrolled at CQ University in an Education or Learning Management Bachelor or Postgraduate course to pursue their degree within the Bundaberg region. The selected students will receive AUD 3,000.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • Be pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate coursework in Education or Learning Management
    • Be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident/Permanent Humanitarian Visa/International/New Zealand Citizen
    • Be enrolled or intending to enroll at CQ University in Term 1, 2022
    • Have a residential postcode in the Bundaberg Region (4620-4675)
    • Be enrolled at CQ University at the time of Census Date in Term 1, 2022
    • Not be receiving multiple CQUniversity Scholarships that exceed the annual value of $10,000

    What are the benefits ?

    The selected scholars will receive AUD 3,000.

    Note -

    • For Future students (applicants who have applied or are intending to apply to study at CQ University but have not yet received or accepted an offer)
    • For Current students (applicants who already have a Student ID number) apply through MyCentre.
    • Complete Applications must be received at the Student Scholarships Office by 5 pm AEST on the closing date. 

    What are the documents required for the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship 2021-22?

    Applications must include all necessary supporting documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will need to supply the following supporting documentation:

    • Written submission
    • Documents demonstrating academic achievements or unofficial transcript
    • Documents demonstrating community involvement, exemplary work or demonstration of leadership
    • Resume

    What are the selection criteria ?

    Applicants will be assessed based on an application form and a written submission of no more than 500 words addressing the following:

    • Career goals and how the scholarship will assist the candidate in achieving the educational objectives
    • Extracurricular activities – especially community and volunteering activities and demonstration of leadership
    • Life experiences

    What are the important dates ?

    • The successful applicant is required to enter the current financial institution details (banking details) into the MyCentre for payment to occur. This must be done prior to Census Date to avoid delays.
    • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
