Rotary scholarship for Water and Sanitation at IHE Delft – The Netherlands 2021

The Rotary Foundation and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education invite applications for Rotary scholarship for Water and Sanitation at IHE Delft – The Netherlands 2021 from graduate students. The aim of this scholarship is to promote long-term productive relationships between Rotarians and highly skilled water and sanitation professionals in their communities. Selected candidates will get the advantage of USD 60,000.

The Rotary Foundation and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education are jointly offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be local candidates who have already been admitted to one of IHE Delft Institute for Water Education’s eligible 18-month Master of Science degree programs

• Copy of current résumé or curriculum vitae
• Copy of admittance letter from IHE Delft

Selection is done on the basis of academic background, significant and relevant professional experience, and demonstrated leadership in the community.

Application deadline: 15th April 2021

• Rotarians from the local Rotary Club interview the scholarship candidate and decide whether to sponsor him or her through a Global Grant.
• The scholars have to submit a progress report after the scholar’s first year of the program and a final report when the scholar completes the academic program.
• If the Rotarians decide to sponsor a scholarship, ask them to complete the Rotary club/district portion of the application and submit it by email to rotary.ihescholarship@gmail.com, together with the resume and the IHE Delft admission letter, no later than 15 April 2021
• The application must be completed electronically or typed, not handwritten.
• Rotarians, spouses or lineal descendants of Rotarians, or employees of a club, district, or other Rotary entity are not eligible to apply.
