Royal Society Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship 2021

Royal Society invites application for Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship 2021 from scientists having a PhD or equivalent degree. The selected fellows will receive research expenses up to a maximum of GBP 2,500 that is available to cover the costs of consumables, equipment, travel and communicating science.

Leverhulme Trust in partnership with The Royal Society is offering this fellowship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Have a PhD or equivalent
• Hold a permanent post at a UK university or not-for-profit institution
• Be at a stage in his/her career when he/she would particularly benefit from a period of full-time research

The selected fellows will get expenses up to a maximum of GBP 2,500 that cover the cost of consumables, equipment, travel and communicating science.

• The research must be within the Royal Society’s remit of natural sciences, which includes but is not limited to biological research, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and physics.
• The award lasts between one term and one academic year.
• The applicant's employing institution will be reimbursed for the full salary cost of a teaching replacement.
