SNBNCBS Summer Research Programme 2025 is an opportunity provided by the S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences for students pursuing selected courses. Selected candidates will receive ₹12,500 per month and other benefits.

Satyendra Bose National Center for Basic Sciences is offering this opportunity.

To be eligible, an applicant must be pursuing one of the following:-

• 1st/2nd year of M.Sc.
• 3rd/4th year of B.Sc. (4-year programme)
• 4th/5th year of Integrated M.Sc. in Physical, Chemical, Biological and Mathematical Sciences (including Physics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Optics and/or Photonics, Applied Physics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Electronics, Engineering Physics, Material Sciences, Nanotechnology)

Selected candidates will receive:-

• ₹12,500 per month to cover all expenses (including hostel fees)
• Return AC III tier train fare for the shortest route between the place of work and the nearest railway station to SNBNCBS

Note:-

• On-campus accommodation may be provided based on requests and the availability of hostel rooms, with a rental fee of ₹200 per day.
• Access to computational and library facilities will be granted according to the Centre's rules.

Step 3: Contact the respective faculty member through email (available on the official website) to receive their consent. 
Step 4: Download the No Objection Certificate and fill in the required details, then make a soft copy.
Step 5: Navigate to the ‘How To Apply’ section and click the provided link for the Google form.
Step 6: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.

• Updated CV
• No Objection Certificate (from the HOD/Dean/Principal/Director of the Institution with seal)

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

• Selected candidates must adhere to the rules and regulations that apply to regular students of SNBNCBS.
