The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) 2025

The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) 2025 is an initiative by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A-STAR) for students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees. This award aims to support short-term research attachments for top international students at A*STAR, giving them the unique opportunity to experience the vibrant scientific environment in A*STAR Research Institutes and Consortia, and work with distinguished and world-renowned researchers. The selected students will receive a monthly stipend of S$2,000 (approx. ₹1,71,675).

Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A-STAR) is offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be an international undergraduate degree student enrolled in the third or fourth year, OR
• be a master's degree student 
• have achieved/on track to achieve at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent for a bachelor’s degree
• be proficient in the English language (written and spoken)
• remain matriculated in their home university during the attachment period

Note:- The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive. A*STAR may include additional selection criteria based on prevailing scholarship policies. These policies can be amended from time to time without notice.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of  S$2,000 (approx. ₹1,71,675).

Note:- SIPGA awardees must complete an online SIPGA Attachment Report by the end of the attachment.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the eligibility criteria.

There are 3 application cycles throughout the year as follows:

January to March Application Period: 31st March 2025
May to July Application Period: 15 July 2025
August to October Application Period: 31st October 2025
