University of Birmingham Global Masters Scholarship 2024

The University of Birmingham offers the Global Masters Scholarship 2024 for postgraduate taught degree applicants. This scholarship aims to support academically talented international students from around the world in pursuing their academic potential. Selected candidates will receive a scholarship of £2,000 (approx. ₹2,16,792).

To be eligible, the applicants must:-

• be a citizen of India or one of the countries listed below:
  • Cameroon
  • Egypt
  • Gambia, The
  • Ghana
  • Iran
  • Kenya
  • Nigeria
  • Pakistan
  • South Africa
  • Sri Lanka
  • Tanzania, United Republic of
  • Uganda
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Vietnam
  • Zambia
  • Zimbabwe
• have accepted an unconditional offer of admission for a full-time master's degree program at the University of Birmingham UK Campus to study in the 2024-25 academic year
• be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes
• have registered online at the University of Birmingham portal before 4th October 2024
• be able to begin the studies at the University in September/October 2024 on a course delivered on-campus
• have paid the full tuition fees by 31st July 2024
• have paid the standard admissions deposit of £2,000

Note:-

• Students seeking to study on a course delivered solely as a distance learning program are not eligible for this scholarship.
• While programs offered by the Birmingham Business School are not eligible for this scholarship, students can apply for separate MSc and MBA scholarships offered by the school directly.
• Undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including MBChB, MEng, M.Sci., M.Pharm., MPhil, MRes, MMus, MLit, PGDip, and PGCert, are not eligible.
• Students studying at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus are not eligible for this scholarship.

Selected candidates will receive a £2,000 (approx. ₹2,16,792) scholarship towards their tuition fees.

Note:- The scholarship will be awarded upon enrolment of the successful candidates in September 2024.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps:-

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID) 
Step 3: Read the details carefully, navigate to the 'How to Apply' section and click on the given link.
Step 4: Click on the link and apply for a postgraduate taught course.
Step 5: The scholarship is automatically awarded to applicants who successfully apply for the course and meet the eligibility criteria.


Note:- Candidates must have received and accepted an unconditional offer by 31st May 2024, via the postgraduate portal to secure the scholarship.

• Academic transcripts including marksheets and certificates
• A valid passport
• Unconditional admission offer

Students meeting the eligibility criteria will be selected for the award.

Application Deadline: 31st July 2024

• Successful candidates will be notified via email with further instructions. To secure their place, they must pay their net tuition fees for the first year by November 1st, 2024, or establish a payment plan with the first installment paid by the same deadline.
