    The University of Central Arkansas invites applications for University of Central Arkansas International Student Merit Scholarship 2021 from first-year undergraduate students at the University of Central Arkansas. This scholarship aims to award the meritorious students studying at the university. Selected students will get USD 7,000.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • Be applying for an undergraduate program of study
    • Have a 3.0 GPA, as calculated by UCA
    • Have a minimum composite score of 1160 on the SAT (version post-March 2016) or 24 on the ACT
    • Meet the English Proficiency minimum scores
    • Enrol in a minimum of 12 UCA undergraduate credit hours

    What are the benefits ?

    USD 7,000 for the first year of undergraduate study at the University of Central Arkansas will be awarded. (USD 3,500 for the Fall semester and, pending USD 3,500 in the Spring semester).

    Terms and Conditions

    • The ACT/SAT test must have been taken within the last five (5) years. For SAT exams taken prior to March 2016, contact internationaladmission@uca.edu
    • One Letter of Recommendation should be from a teacher who knew the candidate well and can speak to his/her academic performance. The letter should be signed by the teacher and if possible, on letterhead.
    • Recipients of the Merit Scholarship will assist the Division of International Engagement during the award period to coordinate cultural events and/or actively participate in one project per semester.
    • All awards are contingent upon review by the Compliance Office and subject to applicable University policies.
