University of Melbourne, Mabel Kent Scholarship 2021

The University of Melbourne invites applications for University of Melbourne, Mabel Kent Scholarship 2021 from students pursuing a Doctor of Medicine course at the university. The aim of this scholarship is to support the study of medical students with financial assistance. Selected students will get a one-off allowance of approximately AUD 1,500.

The University of Melbourne is offering this scholarship with the help of a donation from Mabel Kent.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be enrolled in the doctor of medicine course at the University of Melbourne
• Provide evidence of the financial need
• Be an Australian / domestic student or an International student

 A one-off allowance of approximately AUD 1,500

No application is required. Eligible students will be automatically considered for this award.

Eligible students will be selected on the basis of financial need.

Application starting date: 1st January 2021

Application deadline: 7th March 2021

• Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student in a course at the University of Melbourne.
•  Part-time students may be eligible to receive this scholarship.
• This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
• Applicants must provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship and permit the University to provide the report, their name and course details to the donor.
• The exact amount of the scholarship is determined at the time of offering the award.
