University of Queensland Neil Brice Memorial Fund 2021

The University of Queensland, Australia invites applications for University of Queensland Neil Brice Memorial Fund 2021 from current and new students of University. The aim of this scholarship fund is to support financially disadvantaged students. Selected students will get up to AUD 1,000.

The University of Queensland, Australia is offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Have the academic ability to pursue and complete their chosen program at the University
• Be unable to continue the program or will suffer undue hardship in continuing it without financial assistance

The selected scholars will receive up to AUD 1,000.

Selection will be based on eligibility criteria and preference will be given to students studying in the fields of music and physics.

Application starting date: 28th January 2021
Application deadline: 08th March 2021

• Assistance will be granted by the Senate on the recommendation of the Academic Registrar (or nominee) as Chair; Head, School of Music (or nominee); and Head, School of Mathematics and Physics (or nominee). 
• A student selected as a recipient of assistance may be awarded further assistance for 2 more years unless the Committee recommends that no further assistance should be given by reason of unsatisfactory academic progress, unsatisfactory behaviour or a change in financial circumstances.
• The income of the fund not expended in the year in which it is earned may be invested with the capital unless and until it is required for the purpose of granting assistance to a student in a future year.
• On the recommendation of the Academic Registrar, Senate will determine the number of scholarships awarded in any year.
