The University of Queensland, Australia invites applications for University of Queensland PhD Scholarship for Energi Simulation Industrial Research Program 2020 from new research students of the university. The aim of this scholarship is to contribute to the onshore gas sector via research and education, as well as providing independent science and evidence-based advice to stakeholders (government, regulators, community, and industry). Selected candidates will get the benefit of a tax-free scholarship amounting to AUD 28,092 per annum.

Who can apply for this scholarship ?
To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a degree in Geosciences or Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental) or a related discipline such as Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics (Statistics) and an Honours degree or equivalent
- Must meet the entry requirements for entry into the PhD program

Terms and Conditions
- A domestic part-time student with carer’s responsibilities, a medical condition or a disability, which prevents them from studying full time, may be eligible for scholarship consideration, on a case by case basis.
- If a candidate is selected as the preferred applicant, he/she will then be invited to submit a full application for admission.
- The duration of the scholarship is three years with the possibility of two 6-month extensions in approved circumstances.
