The University of Queensland, Australia invites applications for University of Queensland Scholarship for Newcrest-funded PhD Project in Hydrometallurgy 2020 from new research students of the university. The aim of this scholarship is to support higher degree research candidates who wish to contribute to the development of hydrometallurgical processing technologies. Selected candidates will get the benefit of a tax-free scholarship amounting to AUD 28,092 per annum.

Terms and Conditions
- A domestic part-time student with career responsibilities, a medical condition or a disability, which prevents them from studying full time, may be eligible for scholarship consideration, on a case by case basis.
- If a candidate is selected as the preferred applicant, he/she will then be invited to submit a full application for admission.
- The duration of the scholarship is three years with the possibility of two 6-month extensions in approved circumstances.
