At TU Dresden, the electrical engineering programme is an integrated 5-year programme that leads to a Diplom-Ingenieur degree. The programme is a combination of bachelor and master level courses with the degree being equivalent to the master’s degree upon completion.

Q. Can I study in Germany free of charge?

Tuition fees in German public institutions were removed for international and domestic students in 2014, but reintroduced only by the federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg. Currently, undergraduate level education is free at all public universities in Germany for domestic and international students. You only have to pay administration fees. For postgraduate tuition fees are still applicable, however the fees are cut drastically if you have completed your undergraduate degree from Germany.
