TOEFL Dates – Educational Testing Service or ETS, the conducting body of the TOEFL has announced the TOEFL dates for the period of October 2019 – March 2020. Aspirants who are preparing to appear for the exam in this duration can register and freeze a suitable date as per their convenience. In this article, we will discuss steps to register for the TOEFL exam, how to find a suitable date for the exam, and some frequently asked questions around this topic.

ETS provides two approaches  for taking the test – TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) and TOEFL PBT (Paper-based test). TOEFL iBT is the much-preferred choice and widely used, other than the only places where the internet-based test is not possible. Hence in this article, we will focus on TOEFL iBT only.

TOEFL dates – TOEFL Exam Schedule in India

ETS organises the widely accepted language proficiency test for more than 50 times every year. The test is conducted in 59 cities across the country. The exam takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Aspirants can apply for their preferred centre and date at least 7 days prior to the test. However, the final allotment depends on the availability of seats on the preferred date and centre. That’s why it is advisable to register for the test in advance, as there are only limited seats at each centre.

You don’t have to register to check the available dates. Just visit the portal and put the details and the system will show all the available centres on your preferred date or vice-versa.
