ASEM-DUO Wallonia-Brussels Mobility Scholarship Programme 2025-26 is offered by the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) to academic and scientific staff from selected countries. The selected candidates will receive a lump sum of EUR 7,000.

Who can apply for this scholarship ?
To be eligible, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:-
- Be a duo of two members of academic or scientific staff from higher education institutions, one from the FWB and the other from one of the Asia-Pacific countries covered by the programme, including India
- The Asian-Pacific member must be from an institution covered by the programme
- The duo must be remunerated from their main occupation (full/part-time) by their respective institutions
- The Wallonia-Brussels and Asia-Pacific HEIs must be recognised/accredited by the competent authorities in the field of higher education, and their representatives must sign or have expressed the intention to sign a cooperation agreement in the two following years
Note:-
- The scholarship is open to all disciplines.
- Students, Ph.D. students, professors emeritus and honorary, and teaching assistants are ineligible for the scholarship.
What are the benefits ?
The selected candidate duo will receive a lump sum of EUR 7,000, which can be utilised towards international travel expenses and per diem.
The total duration of each person's stay is fixed at a minimum of 18 days and a maximum of 60 days (including travel days). For more information, please refer to the official website link.

What are the documents required for the ASEM-DUO Wallonia-Brussels Mobility Scholarship Programme 2025-26?
- A duly filled application form in PDF format
- A copy of the academic cooperation agreement
- Passport copies of both the applicants
- An updated CV of both the applicants (maximum 5 pages, containing information relevant to the programme)
What are the selection criteria ?
- The International Relations Department (DRI) of ARES examines the administrative eligibility of applications.
- The jury ranks and selects applicants based on their scores and budget.
- Selected candidates are informed of the results, and they sign a tripartite agreement with ARES.
