Biozentrum PhD Fellowships Program 2021

Biozentrum Ph.D. Fellowships Program 2021 is an initiative for young and motivated scientists around the world. This fellowship program is offered by the Werner Siemens Foundation and the University of Basel. The selected students will receive financial awards.

Werner Siemens-Foundation and the University of Basel, Switzerland is offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be academically good
• Hold or expect soon a university degree that qualifies for a Ph.D. program at the University of Basel (M.Sc. degree or equivalent)

Note - Students with a 4-year bachelor's degree, typically from outside the Bologna system, are also eligible to apply.

The selected students will receive financial awards.

• Electronic copies of Diploma/M.Sc. degree with grades and transcripts as pdf files
• CV or scientific resume (maximum one page, pdf format) 
• names and contact information of 2 referees from your previous academic environment (usually faculty members).
• Reference letters

• The prestigious Ph.D. fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis.
• The shortlisted candidates are invited to the Biozentrum for a week of interviews with group leaders and other opportunities to interact and get to know the Biozentrum.
• The referees will be contacted automatically for a reference letter.
