George Brown Externally Funded Woori Education Scholarship 2021

George Brown College, Canada invites applications from their full-time diploma or degree students for George Brown College Externally Funded Woori Education Scholarship 2021. The scholarship aims to award international students based on their academic performance and community involvement.

George Brown College, Canada is offering this scholarship.
 

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be an international student with a valid Study Permit
• Be registered in a full-time diploma or degree program at GBC
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 in at least two full semesters of consecutive study
• Have participated in activities that have made a contribution to other students, their Department/School and/or the College community

The selected scholars will be given the financial award of CAD 2,000.

Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:

Step 1: Visit the STU-VIEW portal of the university.
Step 2: Log in with your registered ID and password.
Step 3: Select the scholarship you wish to apply for.
Step 4: Start your scholarship application and upload all the required documents
Step 5: Submit your scholarship application.

The selection of the candidates will be done by the selection committee and selected students will be notified by email.

Application deadline: 22nd January 2021

• All of the recipients are required to have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN). 
• The amount of scholarship award is considered as a part of a student’s taxable income for the year.  
• The decision of the selection committee is final and cannot be appealed.
• Successful scholarship recipients can not apply for a second scholarship or bursary at the university.
• Awards are only meant for returning students.
