Hochschule Hof Scholarships for International Students 2020-21

Hochschule Hof invites applications for Hochschule Hof Scholarships for International Students 2020-21. The scholarship aims to provide financial support to international students enrolled as full-time or double-degree students. The scholarship helps students cover extra costs for living and study materials during their studies at Hochschule Hof. The selected students will receive variable awards.

The scholarship is being offered by Hochschule Hof, under the condition of reception of financial means from the Bavarian Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst).

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-

• Be an international student enrolled as a full-time or double-degree student at Hochschule Hof for the winter semester 2020-21
• Be an international student exempt from tuition fee (except service fee)
• Have a good academic record
• Be in need of financial assitance

Note: Foreign students in Bachelor's courses must have achieved a minimum of 90 ECTS.

The selected students will receive variable awards.

• Completed online application form
• Proof of enrolment
• Latest transcript of records (Master students add a copy of their final transcript of their Bachelor degree in either German or English language) – with average rating
• Cover letter with short CV
• Proof of nationality (e.g., copy of passport)

The scholarship will be given on the basis of merit as well as financial need of the student.

• Applications for the summer semester 2020: till June 14th, 2020 Applications for the winter semester 2020/21: till November 15th, 2020

• Students who are already receiving any additional public funding for the same period will not be considered for this scholarship.
• Applications must be submitted before the application deadline.
• Only complete and legible applications will be considered.
• Foreign students holding a German university entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur, Fachabitur) must present a written confirmation that they are not eligible for BaföG funding.
