Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2026

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2026 is an opportunity provided by  Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) to students seeking a full-time PhD admission at a University in Hong Kong. The selected candidates shall receive an annual stipend of HK$340,800 (₹38,71,829 approx.) and other benefits.

• be students seeking a full-time PhD admission at a University in Hong Kong
• demonstrate outstanding academic performance
• show exceptional research ability and leadership potential

The selected candidates will receive:

• an annual stipend of HK$340,800 (₹38,71,829 approx.)
• conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$14,200

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Step 5: Enter all the details and click on the ‘Sign Up’ button. 
Step 6: Click on the name of the university you are interested in out of the eight listed and click on the ‘Online Application’ link. 
Step 7: This will redirect you to the application link of that specific university where you can proceed with the fellowship application.
