    What is IHS Holland Scholarship 2020-21?

    The Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam invites applications for Holland Scholarship 2020-21 from non-EEA (European Economic Area) students who are interested in pursuing their Bachelor's or Master's degree in Holland. The students selected for the scholarship will receive a tuition fee waiver of EUR 5000.

    The scholarship is being offered by the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:

    • Be a non-EEA (European Economic Area) national
    • Be an excellent student
    • Be applying for a full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree at  Erasmus University Rotterdam
    • Meet the specific requirements set by the faculty offering the particular Bachelor's or Master's programme

    Note: The applicants must not have obtained a diploma at an educational institution in the Netherlands.

    What are the documents required for the IHS Holland Scholarship 2020-21?

    • Unconditional admission letter
    • Certified copy of Bachelor's degree (proof of excellence)
    • Bank statement showing the amount sufficient for the living costs during the course of studies in Holland

    What are the important dates ?

    Applications starting date: 1 November 2020
    Application deadline: 1 May 2021
    Receive awards committee date: 15th June 2021

    Terms and Conditions

    • Candidates can only apply for this scholarship once.
    • It must be noted that the scholarship provided to students will be in the form of fee waiver only. It is not a full-tuition scholarship.
    • The average living cost in Holland is EUR 870. So, the bank statement submitted by the candidates must be sufficient for 12 x EUR 870.
