    What is Nottingham University Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2024?

    Nottingham University Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2024 is an initiative of the University of Nottingham, for master's degree applicants. This scholarship programme is designed for international students who want to make a difference in the development of key economic, environmental, structural, social, or political structures in their home country. The selected scholars will receive scholarships covering up to 100% of full-time masters tuition fees.

    The University of Nottingham is offering this scholarship.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible, an applicant must:- 

    • be domiciled in Africa, India or one of the selected Commonwealth countries 
    • be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
    • hold an offer to start a full-time master's (including MRes) for 2024/2025 at the University of Nottingham UK, studying in the following:
      • Faculty of Engineering
      • Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
      • Faculty of Science
      • Faculty of Social Sciences

    The following candidates are not eligible for the scholarship:-

    • Candidate is a current student or graduate of the University of Nottingham.
    • Candidate has already studied outside of their home country.
    • Candidates who are currently studying in the UK.

    What are the benefits ?

    The selected scholars will receive a scholarship covering 50% or 100% of full-time masters tuition fees. 

    How can you apply ?

    Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
    Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
    Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
    Step 3: Navigate to the 'How to Apply' section and click on 'how to apply'.
    Step 4: 
    Read the guidelines carefully. Navigate to the 'Applying' section and click on the 'Apply Online'.
    Step 5: Click on the 'Apply Online' under the 'New application' section.
    Step 6: Click on the 'Apply for a course'.
    Step 7: Fill in the details to Apply for a course at the university. (Note:- If the applicants have already applied for the course, they can track the application status by simply signing in using valid credentials.)
    Step 8: After successfully applying for a course, the applicants can access the application form.
    Step 9: Fill in the required details, upload the scanned copies of the required documents, and submit.

    What are the documents required for the Nottingham University Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2024?

    • Academic transcripts
    • English language test result, such as IELTS, PTE or TOEFL 
    • Two references (depending on the course)

    What are the selection criteria ?

    The selected of candidates will be selected based on their academic merit, reasons for studying at Nottingham, noteworthy achievements and their response to the following:

    • How they can demonstrate their vision, and tangible plan for developing a specific solution that will positively contribute to key economic, environmental, structural, social, or political challenges within their home country.

    Terms and Conditions

    • The commonwealth countries eligible for the scholarship are: Africa (all nations), Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
    • The applicants do not have to respond to the offer before applying for this scholarship, however, awards will only be made to students who accept their offer to study with the University of Nottingham.
    • If the applicants are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to the applicants as a student at the University of Nottingham. The university will not pay tuition fee scholarships to the applicants directly. 
    • This award cannot be combined with another University of Nottingham Regional Scholarship.
    • However, the applicants will be able to receive an additional subject scholarship from the academic school or a sporting award from the applicants' country, where the combined total does not exceed 100% of tuition fees. 
    • When answering questions with a word limit, candidates are advised to keep to the word limit and don’t exceed it. Any responses that exceed the word limit may not be assessed. 
    • Accept the scholarship by the given deadline by responding to the award notification – the University reserves the right to withdraw the offer of a scholarship if it is not accepted by the given deadline.
    • Make satisfactory progress on your programme of study. The scholarship is subject to satisfactory progress.
