To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be a Penn graduate student in the humanities who is ABD
- Be conducting dissertation research related to the Center's theme for the year in which the award is granted

Terms and Conditions
- Fellows are required to attend the Wolf Humanities Center's Mellon Research Seminar, held Tuesdays from noon–1:50 pm during the academic year, and present their work at one of the sessions.
- A total of two fellowships are available under this scheme for a one-year research program.
