Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence (RGS), Rajasthan 2023

Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence (RGS), Rajasthan 2023 is an initiative of the Government of Rajasthan, for undergraduate, master's, Ph.D., and postdoctoral degree students.  The scholarship supports studies in specified subjects at the graduate level including master's, Ph.D., and postdoctoral programs at 150 approved universities aborad. Selected students will receive tuition fees, bench fees (if applicable), and living expenses.

The Government of Rajasthan is offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be a citizen of India
• be domiciled in Rajasthan
• be below 35 years of age as of July 1st of the application year 
• hold an offer letter from one of the top 150 universities according to the QS World Ranking
• possess an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, or Architecture
• meet the following annual income criteria:
  • Less than INR 8,00,000 (E1 category)
  • Between INR 8,00,000 and INR 25,00,000 (E2 category)
  • More than INR 25,00,000 (E3 category)

Note:-  E1, E2, and E3 represents different income brackets that are bein used to determine the level of financial assistance awarded.

The selected candidates will receive tuition fees, bench fees, and living expenses as follows:

Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the below-mentioned steps:-

Step 3: Navigate to the 'Apply Now' button and click on it.
Step 4: Navigate to the 'Registration' section on the right-hand side.
Step 5: Click on 'Jan Aadhaar' or 'Google' to 'Register'.
Step 6: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit.

• Jan Aadhaar Number (if applicable)
• Passport (if required)
• Visa (if required)
• Offer letter from the relevant foreign university
• Domicile certificate (Shortened "Bonafide/domicile certificate")
• Gross family income certificate (authenticated by an executive magistrate and witnessed by two gazetted officers)
• Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for the financial year 2022-23 (applicable for applications submitted in the financial year 2023-24)
• Affidavit for not filing ITR (use the provided format)
• Marksheet/certificate of the last passed examination
• Self-declaration for scholarships/financial aid received from other sources (if applicable)

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of eligibility criteria and applications submitted.

Application Deadline:- 30th June 2023

• A total of 200 scholarships are available each year.
• An offer letter from a top university is required for application. 
• Providing false or misleading information or documents will disqualify applicants.
• Mandatory participation in online interactions may be required.
• Students are expected to adhere to all program guidelines and the indemnity bond.
