RAU Sports Scholarships 2025-26

RAU Sports Scholarships 2025-26 is an initiative by the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) to support talented athletes pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate education. This scholarship aims to empower students who have demonstrated exceptional sports achievements at the state and national levels by providing them with financial assistance and specialised training facilities. The selected candidates will receive financial support of GBP 4,000 for a year.

Royal Agricultural University (RAU) is offering this opportunity.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be an international student
• have shown excellence in sports, with achievements at the UK national or international level
• display a strong commitment to representing RAU, enhancing the university’s profile through active participation in sports and competitions
• be willing to mentor, support, and coach RAU sports teams, fostering a culture of skill development and encouragement
• be holding a valid offer to study at the university

Note:- Re-applications for each year of study are welcome.

The selected students will receive GBP 4,000 for one year only.

The students will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

Question: What is the RAU Sports Scholarship?
Answer: The RAU Sports Scholarship provides financial assistance and training to students excelling in sports while pursuing their UG or PG education.

Question: Who can apply for the scholarship? 
Answer: Students with outstanding sports records and academic excellence can apply.
 

Question: Is the scholarship only for national-level athletes? 
Answer: No, state-level players with exceptional achievements are also eligible.
 

Question: Who is the referee for the application?
Answer: The referee should be your most recent school/university tutor, sports coach or employer
 

Question: How will I know if my application has been successful?
Answer: All applicants will be informed in writing of the outcome once a decision has been made and no later than the end of June 2025.

• Applicants may hold only one RAU-managed scholarship at a time.
• RAU strives for accuracy but accepts no legal liability for errors and may make changes without notice.
• The Scholarship Committee's decision is final, based on the application and supporting references.
