Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program 2025-26

Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by the University of Sydney for students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the university. This program aims to enhance engagement between the University and India by investing in research, collaborating with industry partners, and deepening educational commitments for student success. Selected candidates will receive scholarships worth AUD 5,00,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be an international student
• be an Indian citizen currently residing in the country
• have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney at the time of application
• have received an unconditional offer letter for their coursework but have not started the course yet

Note:- Students who received this scholarship before are ineligible to apply.

A total of 28 annual scholarships are available in the following manner:-

• Two 100% tuition fees scholarships for any undergraduate degree up to four years of full-time study.
• Ten AUD 20,000 first-year scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Sixteen AUD 10,000 first-year scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

• The scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:
  • withdraws from an eligible course or fails to enroll,
  • becomes a domestic student,
  • begins part-time study without prior approval,
  • does not maintain satisfactory academic performance,
  • is found guilty of serious misconduct, including providing false information in their application,
  • accepts another scholarship valued over AUD 10,000 per annum,
  • does not resume study after approved leave.
• If serious misconduct is found or the Scholarship is terminated, the University may require reimbursement of any funds paid.
