The University of Manchester GREAT Scholarships 2025-26

The University of Manchester GREAT Scholarships 2025-26 is a combined initiative by the University of Manchester with the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council for postgraduate degree applicants. The university is offering scholarships for eligible students from Bangladesh, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. The selected scholars will receive a scholarship worth £10,000 towards the tuition fees.

The University of Manchester and the British Council are offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:  

• be a resident of Bangladesh, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam
• hold an offer letter to study for a postgraduate degree at the University of Manchester
• must have completed the bachelor’s degree from specified countries.
• be classified by the University as an international tuition fee payer
• be motivated and academically able to follow and benefit from a UK postgraduate taught course
• meet the English language requirement of the UK University

Non-Eligibility: 

• Applicants who have previously studied in the UK are not eligible for the award
• unless they have studied at The University of Manchester.
• Incomplete forms will not be considered in the selection process.

The selected scholars will receive a scholarship worth £10,000 toward the tuition fees.

Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the steps mentioned below:-

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
Step 3: Click on the 'Application Form' tab.
Step 4: Fill in the required derails in the application form. 
Step 5: Click on the 'Submit' button. 

Note:- The application form will be available once a student get an offer letter from the University of Manchester.

The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence and relevant experience.

Application Deadline: 24th April 2025

• The University of Manchester GREAT scholarships will be awarded in the form of a partial fee waiver.
• Successful applicants will be notified by 30 May 2025..
