The University of Manchester GREAT Scholarships 2022

The University of Manchester GREAT Scholarships 2022 is a combined initiative by the University of Manchester with the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council for postgraduate degree applicants. The university is offering scholarships for eligible students from India and Nigeria. The selected scholars will receive a scholarship worth £10,000 towards the tuition fees.

The University of Manchester and the British Council are offering this scholarship.

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

• Be passport holders of India or Nigeria
• Hold an offer letter to study for a postgraduate degree at the University of Manchester
• Be studied in India and Nigeria at all levels (school/college/university) with the exception of students who completed their bachelor’s at the University of Manchester
• Be classified by the University as an international tuition fee payer
• Be motivated and academically able to follow and benefit from a UK postgraduate taught course
• Meet the English language requirement of the UK University

The selected scholars will receive a scholarship worth £10,000 toward the tuition fees.

Step 2: Get an offer letter from the University of Manchester
Step 3: The university will email the application form to the relevant offer holders.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, upload the documents and submit.

• Degrees/certificates

The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence and relevant experience.

Application Deadline - 1st June 2022

• The University of Manchester GREAT scholarships will be awarded in the form of a partial fee waiver.
• Successful applicants will be notified by 17 June 2022. 
• Five scholarships are available and applications will open to relevant offer-holders from November 2021.
