    What is Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship 2024?

    Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship 2024 is an opportunity offered by the University of Bristol to Indian students pursuing a one-year full-time taught Master's program or one of our two eligible two-year programs: MSc Social Work and MA Law. The selected students will receive £6,500, £13,000, and £26,000 per annum and can only use these funds towards tuition fees and other benefits.

    Who can apply for this scholarship ?

    To be eligible, an applicant must:-

    • be either Indian nationals or nationals of one of the specified countries
    • have applied to a one-year full-time taught master's degree program offered by the University of Bristol (Note:- This can include the eligible two-year programs: MSc Social Work and MA Law.)
    • be planning to start their master's degree program in September 2024
    • be classified as overseas students for fee purposes

    Note:- Applicants cannot already be receiving other funding that, combined with a Bristol scholarship, would cover the full cost of tuition fees.

    What are the benefits ?

    The selected students will receive £6,500, £13,000 or £26,000 per annum and can only be used towards tuition fees. In addition, some students may be eligible for a £3,000 living cost bursary during their first year of study.

    Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following the below steps: 
    Step 1:

    Step 3: Read the details carefully and navigate to the 'How to Apply' section.
    Step 4: Click on the given link, navigate to the 'Postgraduate application form' and click on it.
    Step 5: Now, click on 'Start Application' and select the appropriate option.
    Step 6: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents (if applicable) and submit.

    What are the documents required for the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship 2024?

    Candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

    Terms and Conditions

    • Scholarships wil be awarded as a tuition fee discount and are non-transferable. No cash alternative is available.
    • If a scholarship award exceeds tuition fees, the full cost of tuition will be covered. Any remaining scholarship funds will not be disbursed.
    • Unless otherwise specified, undergraduate scholarships are awarded for all years of undergraduate study at the University of Bristol excluding semesters spent away from Bristol, such as industry placements. This is subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress throughout the program.
    • Bursaries will be awarded as a contribution toward living costs. Recipients will receive payment at the beginning of the academic year, after completing full registration and setting up a UK bank account.
    • The bursary is available only in the first year of study for awardees enrolled in two-year postgraduate programs.
    • The University of Bristol reserves the right to update or amend scholarship awards based on the availability and quality of applications received. Notice of such changes may not be provided.
    • Deferring studies does not allow deferral of a scholarship.
    • Students awarded a scholarship agree to act as ambassadors for the University of Bristol. This may involve participation in events or promotional activities, taking up to five hours per term.
    • Unless otherwise stated, scholarships are provided as tuition fee discounts. Due to UK Visas and Immigration regulations, students must demonstrate sufficient funds to cover remaining tuition fees and living expenses. This is necessary to obtain a visa for entering the UK.
