Zhengzhou University President Scholarship 2026

The President Scholarship at Zhengzhou University (ZZU) is initiated by the University of Zhengzhou, designed to attract exceptional international postgraduate students to pursue full-time study at ZZU. The scholarship promotes academic excellence, internationalisation, and research collaboration at one of China’s major universities. Selected students will receive a monthly stipend of up to CNY 3,500, along with other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• non-Chinese citizens, physically healthy and of good conduct
• not currently registered in a Chinese university as a postgraduate student
• demonstrated strong academic performance and research potential
• have an excellent academic record at Master’s level or equivalent, and be under 40 years of age
• have language‐competent: For Chinese‐taught programmes, HSK Level 5; for English‐taught programmes, appropriate English proficiency where required

Selected recipients receive:-

• Full tuition fee waiver for their approved postgraduate programme
• Accommodation subsidy of CNY 1,000 (approx. ₹12,458) per month for the scholarship duration
• Living monthly stipend of CNY 3,500( approx. ₹43,604)

Selection will be made in accordance with the eligibility criteria.

Application Deadline: 15 December 2025

• The teaching language is Chinese, and some programs are taught in English.
• Registration fee, textbooks, thesis defence, medical check-up, medical insurance, etc are afforded by students themselves.
• Applicants who have won the Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarships, scholarships of foreign authorities are not allowed to apply.
• ZZU will assess all application documents and announce the results of scholarship 4-6 weeks after the deadline of submission.
