The city-state of Singapore is a global business hub, known for one of the highest standards of living in the world. Correspondingly, the cost of living is also very high, especially compared to the Indian subcontinent, and tuition fees are also the highest in Asia. When compared to an equivalent standard of education in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia, though, the average tuition fee in Singapore would seem like a great bargain.

The currency used in Singapore is the Singapore Dollar. The exchange rate, when compared to India, is over 50 times, or in other words, you would need more than 50 Indian rupees to get 1 Singapore Dollar (exchange rate as on 25 October; SGP 1 = INR 53.08).

The average cost of tuition can vary from subject to subject, and institute to institute, and can be around anywhere from SGD 10,000 to SGD 50,000 a year. The cost of living in Singapore will cost you around SGD 10,000 a year on an average.
